Mandatory Operator Identification Is Missing

Section 5 of the German Digital Services Act (Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz, DDG) requires commercial digital services to keep specific provider information easily recognisable, directly accessible and permanently available. Depending on the operator and business, a compliant Legal Notice / Impressum generally requires the actual legal name, legal form and a full geographic address at which the operator is established. An email address alone is not an adequate substitute for the required physical address.

Because no verified legal operator name, physical business address, authorised representative, registration details or tax identification details were provided, katyfurniture.shop cannot responsibly publish a “no-placeholder” Legal Notice that claims to be complete. Inventing those facts could misidentify the responsible party and create legal and consumer-trust risks.

Information the Actual Operator Must Publish Where Applicable

Full legal name of the sole trader, partnership, company or other entity operating the store.

Legal form and complete physical address for service and official correspondence.

Name of the authorised representative or managing director if the operator is a legal entity.

Email address and additional direct-contact information required by applicable law.

Commercial, partnership, association or cooperative register and registration number, if registered.

VAT identification number under § 27a UStG or business identification number under § 139c AO, if issued and legally required to be shown.

Competent supervisory authority, professional chamber, statutory professional title and professional rules where the activity is regulated.

Information required under German consumer dispute-resolution law, based on whether the operator is willing or obliged to participate and on the operator’s size and circumstances.

A person responsible for journalistic-editorial content under applicable media law if the site publishes qualifying editorial content.

Contact for Website Matters

Questions concerning this website may be sent to info@katyfurniture.shop. This contact line does not cure the absence of the legally required operator identity and address.

Content and External Links

The actual operator is responsible for its own website content in accordance with applicable law. External links may lead to independent third-party content. The operator does not adopt third-party content merely by linking to it and should address unlawful content when it obtains legally sufficient notice and is required to act. This statement does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Copyright and Trade Marks

Unless otherwise indicated, website text, layout, graphics and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Reproduction, adaptation, distribution or commercial exploitation requires the relevant right holder’s permission unless allowed by law. Third-party product names and trade marks remain the property of their respective owners.

Consumer Dispute Resolution

The actual operator must determine and publish the dispute-resolution statement required for its circumstances. The former European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued in 2025 and should not be presented as an active complaint portal. Customers may contact info@katyfurniture.shop directly, but this does not replace any statement mandated by the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act.

Publication Status

STATUS: NOT A COMPLETE IMPRESSUM. Before publication, the verified operator must replace this warning with its genuine statutory identity and disclosure details. This limitation cannot be solved using only the store domain and email address. The other five policies in this document can be adapted for publication, but they also do not replace legally required pre-contract information shown at checkout and on the product pages.
